Frequently asked questions about IT buyback
Which devices do you buy?
Apple devices up to five years old and Windows devices up to three years old, counted from the date of purchase. A model year is not a purchase date – without the purchase date the age limit cannot be checked. We do not buy monitors or network equipment; we take them over for recycling.
How is the buyback price determined?
Based on your information you first receive a non-binding estimate. The price becomes binding after we have inspected the devices ourselves; condition statements in advance are not a basis for valuation.
What about devices in mobile device management or Apple Business Manager?
Devices registered there and not released cannot be fully inspected and are therefore valued conservatively. Ideally, release the devices before pickup.
What if I do not accept the offer?
Then we return the devices free of charge or dispose of them as you instruct.
